2009
LIBRATONE was founded by a group of exceptional Danish industrial designers and sound engineers, dedicated to revolutionizing traditional audio through outstanding design and creating a more liberating listening experience.
2010
The company was the first to launch a home speaker supporting high-performance wireless transmission. Innovatively incorporating wool material and a distinctive design, it earned the prestigious European Plus X Award.
2014
Launched a series of wireless speakers that perfectly embody the concept of modern home design. These products consistently feature a simple, friendly, and boldly innovative Nordic design style. They have earned numerous world-class design awards and are even part of the collection at the Danish National Design Museum.
2015
Zipp series are featuring a high-performance wireless module developed in-house, which supports a wide range of wireless audio transmission protocols and incorporates the patented Soundspace Link® multi-room synchronization technology. The design earned prestigious Red Dot Design Award.
2016
Wireless noise-cancelling headphones and Lightning interface in-ear noise-cancelling headphones were launched in quick succession. LIBRATONE introduced these products featuring innovative multi-level adjustable noise reduction technology, CityMix®, and their design was honored with the prestigious German Design Gold Award. With these advancements, LIBRATONE has now become a comprehensive audio brand.
2018
The audio products received an official certification from Apple, making them the first audio brand globally to support AirPlay 2. These wireless audio products successfully entered nearly 500 Apple stores worldwide, becoming the only third-party audio brand to be featured in Apple stores in recent years.
2019
The first true wireless earphones on the market to feature high-performance hybrid digital noise reduction technology were launched, garnering widespread industry attention and unanimous praise from users. This milestone marked the beginning of a new phase of rapid growth for the brand.
2023
The third generation of true wireless earphones was launched, delivering exceptional performance that ranked first globally in noise reduction. This achievement earned widespread praise from consumers.
